You can permanently delete your Ụgwọ account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app (fastest)
- Open Ụgwọ on your phone
- Go to the More tab
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm — your account and every record are erased immediately
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
No longer have the app installed? Email us from the address linked to your Ụgwọ account and we will delete it within 7 days:

What gets deleted
Everything: your profile (name, email), all encrypted ledger records (people, debts, repayments, notes), device push tokens, and sessions. Nothing is retained except records we are legally required to keep, if any.
